Chyann Wicker is a freshman at Bowie State University majoring in Broadcast Journalism. A dedicated youth advocate, student leader, and community servant, she has held roles in student government, JROTC, church ministry, and youth mentorship programs throughout the Washington, D.C. area.
Passionate about storytelling, civic engagement, and empowering young people, Chyann uses her voice to advocate for issues impacting her generation. She is an accomplished public speaker, scholarship recipient, and 1st place oratorical competition winner who believes in leading with purpose, authenticity, and service. As she begins college , she plans to continue creating impact through journalism, advocacy, and community leadership while pursuing her goal of becoming a media Journalist in the US Army.
