About   (request update)
Upon graduating from Florida Agriculture and Mechanical University in 1991, I landed mathematics’ teaching position which I held for eight years at Deerlake Middle School in Tallahassee, FL. I also taught College Algebra Courses at Tallahassee Community College. In June 1999, I relocated to Miami and taught mathematics for seven additional years at Hammocks Middle School. I received my Masters degree in Educational Leadership in July 2004 and became an Assistant Principal in August 2006. My first assignment as an Assistant Principal was at Miami Edison Middle School. In July 2008, I was promoted and became an Instructional Support Specialist with the Miami-Dade County School district’s Mathematics department. I was a non-site Administrator and continuing to climb and move upward and onward professionally. In August 2009, I promoted again to Booker T. Washington Senior High School as Vice Principal. Let me just say I love working at the high school level. In November 2010, I became an Assistant Principal at Miami Killian Senior High School. This is my high school alma mater. In my dreams, I never thought I would be back in this school in this capacity. All I can see is nothing but GOD! I am in the final stretch of my doctoral degree, single and I have no children. On April 18, 2009, I became a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. I am thankful for each day I see and I am enjoying life.
