After graduating from Signature School on May 21, 2026, I plan on attending North Carolina A & T State University in the fall of 2026. My intended major is Biology. I would like to pursue a Dentistry program. My ultimate career goal is to become a dental hygienist or dentist. I am eager to pursue an undergraduate degree in science for a career in dentistry. My scientific knowledge stems from chemistry for the foundations of experimentation and a process that builds upon itself. I am motivated by the pursuit of learning. As a student, I have learned so much from my teachers, family and friends. From my artistic practice of drawing and painting, I learned by watching others and making the knowledge personal. Being able to observe others is an essential skill in art and science.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
I have a goal of not only helping my community through dentistry but also inspiring future dentists along the way. This scholarship will support my collegiate journey and the larger purpose behind it: finding solutions rooted in curiosity, and using science to make a real difference in the lives of the people around me.
