Many believe that working in the service industry isn't that bad, but that isn't exactly true. As a high school student, I began my second job at a restaurant as a hostess, eventually working my way up to high positions over time. I've found myself gaining so many skills over the year I've worked there. Most importantly, I have learned to have patience that I never thought was possible for me. Serving people can test your limits, but over time it comes naturally to just be kind and understanding of the customers, you start to gain a mindset of "this is my job".
