Experienced healthcare and public safety professional with 15+ years of experience in healthcare, higher education, security, and direct support. My claim to fame in college is being a nontraditional student who returned to college with a clear purpose and determination to build on more than 15 years of professional experience. Balancing work, family responsibilities, and my education while pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Health Science has taught me discipline, time management, and perseverance. I’m proud of continuing to move forward and proving that it’s never too late to invest in yourself and pursue your goals.

Provide professional and courteous assistance to visitors, contractors, employees, and members of the public, responding to questions, providing information and directions, and helping individuals navigate the facility. Maintain a welcoming, professional presence while supporting a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, visitors, and contractors. Communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds while remaining calm, respectful, and service-oriented during routine and emergency situations. • Respond to security concerns and unusual activity, communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel and law enforcement when necessary. Use two-way radio and telephone communications to coordinate with security personnel and support timely responses to incidents and emergencies. Protect the privacy and confidentiality of clients, employees, visitors, and contractors while performing assigned responsibilities. Complete incident-related documentation and maintain accurate records in accordance with established policies and procedures. Assist with administrative functions including officer scheduling, payroll, timesheets, data entry, and Microsoft Excel. Conduct telephone interviews with prospective security officer candidates and communicate professionally with applicants.
