I am currently living in Chicago for the summer and can't wait to get to TSU. I am a sophomore but it will be my first year at a HBCU.

Tennessee State University class of 2008

Undergrad Major: Elementary Education

Claim To Fame:

Changing as many lives as posisble through my kind heart and warm spirit. I plan on becoming an Elementary School Teacher, particularly inner city 3rd graders.

Most Memorable Moment:

My most memorable moment was when I first moved into my dorm. The dorm smelled funny, I didnt know my room mate, big culture shock, and it was a whole new atmosphere. Once my family left it was just me...and God. What a peace to have knowing that through it all, God is always there.

Last year I attended a predominately white school, ISU. It was only 13% minority and the parties were as bunk as they come. I felt that I was deprived of the cultural experience that I should have had ...more
