My Interview Question
What have you discovered about yourself that will benefit the world?
Current Whereabouts:
I'm the Bass Guitar Player for Parks Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in Fayetteville, NC. Oh yea, Holy dance music!!
Education   (request update)
Shaw University class of 2000
Undergrad Major: Sociology
Claim To Fame:
I worked as a Cumberland County Teachers Assistance for behavioral problem students. My involvement led me to become an employee with the City of Fayetteville Police Department. Today I work as a community Relations Specialist in the Community Development Department assisting with community beautification in low-income commmunitites and the contiuum of care for Cumberland County and its homeless service issues.
Most Memorable Moment:
I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to participate in the graduation ceremony with my class, so I did not sign up. At the last minute I was given the time off to attend. I sat in the audience with my cap and gown on and was overwhelmed that I had actually completed my degree program. My most memorable moment was when Mr. Ray Charles came on stage. I had never seen him before and to think that he was the speaker for my graduation. I was blown away. You see I am also a musician and a fan of Mr. Charles. Now, even after 20 years of military service behind me and now a life long dream to complete college, he left me with the feeling that I still needed to do more.
High School: Hughes High School in Cincinnati, OH class of 1975

Activities & Accomplishments:
Chamber Choir, Marching Band, Concert Band, Singing groups (Unlimited Love), Gospel Quartets( The Christianaires), Step-team, Merry-Go-Rounds and Jazz Band.
Best Memories:
Meeting the fellas in the Hallways to harmonize to songs like 3 ring circus, love on a two way street, Hey Love, and backstabbers. I'm glad we are all still close.
