They say they love you, but do they really care,
About you and your well being, this is my greatest fear.
I tried my best by pouring out my heart,
In the end it looked like I should have just stayed quiet from the start.
I’m tired of putting everything in and getting shit back in return,
I’m looking for that real love that good men just yearn.
You know the type that just rocks a brotha’s world,
I’m just looking for someone to call my baby girl.
Someone I can invest the best years of my life,
You know, that girl that you can not help but call her your wife.
One who listens to you when you feel steam headed,
Just as simple as that, but yet some girls dread it.
Do you really understand what I need from you,
Is that, I ask, just too much for you?

I feel certain emptiness,
I turn and you are not there,
I search for a letter to tell me where you are,
I can find it, I wonder if you even care.
I start to panic looking for my lost love,
I've searched the deepest depts. & even high above.
I drop down on my knees and start to cry,
Why can't I find my lost love, can someone please tell me why?
I hear the phone ring as tears fall from my eyes.
I run to pick it up, maybe that person knows why.
I listen to the voice cause it sounds like you,
I start to smile again; I have found my lost boo.
Your voice sooths and comforts me so I put down my head.
It was just 1 Cold and Lonely night without you in my bed.

Meeting my BaBy GiRl. (you know who you are)

I once was blind, but now I see,
Led by the Holy Spirit who comforts me.
In the days that follow my commitment to Christ,
I pray that I may not lose sight.
Of the object of my faith which is at hand.
Only one place was made for us, which are His commands.
Love to live life well and keep your heart pure and true,
That one-day we can meet in that place made just for me and you.
But if the first you do get left behind,
Make sure your name gets called that second time.
Like God said, "It shall come to pass."
After the trials and tribulations WE WILL be home at last.
