"Excellent question. My contribution in shifting the paradigm of dysfunction will prayerfully be felt through my family's new clothing line and gifts, HBCUkidz.com, our informational networking resources, BlackParentConnect.com, our educational resource program, AchieversinTraining.com and ultimately my book soon to be published, CottonPickinPaycheck.com. I know that i have made a huge difference in my immediate family and my own children. My oldest daughter scored an almost perfect score last year on her kindergarten statewide NCLB exam! WE CAN DO THIS!"
"I would be in Seychelles in a heartbeat. My perception and impression (haven't been YET) is that it is GEORGEOUS, very pristine, beautiful people, African culture and a hard target for bombing-LOL. While I was spending time in South Africa I learned about it and VOWED to one day get there to see for myselft!"
I am a dedicated mompreneur working for the advancement of all of the wonderful members of the Class of 2028 who are all of the little munchkins currently running around.
My goal is to work with my family in designing an innovative line of clothing that they can all wear proudly and feel special each and every day.
I have written a book about our journey called, "Cotton Pickin' Paycheck-A 21st Century Journal of Escape from Slavery" www.CottonPickinPaycheck.com
After graduation I joined Eli Lilly & Co. as an international financial analyst in Indianapolis and later went on to get my MBA in International Finance and Marketing from the University of Michigan.
Currently, I am living and working in small town in Virginia. I am happily married to Thomas Gosier (aka Go-Go HU '89) and mother of two toddler girls. I absolutely love children and real estate. I am a specialist in community redevelopment, affordable housing and urban renewal. Our family is actively involved with building a grassroots internet presence: www.JoanEGosier.com, www.HBCUkidz.com, www.BlackParentConnect.com, and www.PETAC.us
Life & Professional Aspirations:

How are you all doing. I have been out of town in Atlanta at my class and I drive so I end up being gone for five days and it is 12 hours away and three eight hour days of class so I end up whipped. Let me know when the three of us might chat a bit.
