Currently in Chicago, IL completing my Masters of Arts Management Degree in Summer 2009. Pursuing endeavors in project and event management, modeling, and of course being the talented musician I am! :-)
Life & Professional Aspirations:
I'm extremely ambitious and goal-oriented so rather than right a whole book, just ask me. lol.
Being the FIRST FEMALE DRUM MAJOR AT ELIZABETH CITY STATE UNIVERSITY, all while representing the phirst and the phinest ALPHA KAPPA ALPHA SOROITY, INC. Also, in my senior yr after a phenomenal jazz solo, I received a medal for "Excellence in Music" from a member of the United States Navy Reserves jazz ensemble. There are a few more, but I'll be humble....lol.
Most Memorable Moment:
After I transfered to ECSU, I had alot of fun and many good memories. Too many to name but a few would be: my Drum Major performance in the game against VSU in 2002 (we blew you guys out and you know it lol), my 2nd to last Jazz solo (saxophone) with the jazz ensemble which I believe was my best solo yet, the loooooooooooooooooong road to finally becoming a Woman of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, Spring Break my senior year (shout out to VSU for all the craziness lol), Viking Fest my Senior Yr (my very first time drunk and I went all out....yeah it was a rough morning right?!), my first performance with the hip-hop dance group Rhythmik Dyanasty at a Williams Hall party (I forgot half the moves but I was killin it! lol), Drum Major training!!! (I think it has pledging to be Greek BEAT!), seein myself on the front page of the school paper for being the first female drum major, CIAA boos of the week lol (inside joke), me and my BFF and our crazy time together, etc.
High School: Cleveland Heights High School in Cleveland Heights, OH
class of 2002
Activities & Accomplishments:
Symphonic Winds (top band all 4 yrs), Jazz Ensemble, Marching Band (Corporal & Dance Choreography), Field Hockey, Track & Field, probably some other things I can't remember.
Best Memories:
High School was a big rollercoaster. I guess I had to go through some growing pains lol. I had some good times, but my junior/senior year my rebellious phase kicked in! (Ironically the same time I got my first car....lol.) I had some amazing memories in Track & Field my freshman year as well. Oh and how could I forget AOSFB, it's where I met my first love who is still today one of my best friends and also my Phrat Bruh!
