Ann Gwen Mack, a native Washingtonian, was born on 23 September 1960 to Ruby H. and James S. Mack. She considers herself to be a very modest individual who gives herself very little to no credit for the accomplishments she has made in her life. Through life’s lessons and challenges, she was determined to push beyond the boundaries and limitations she encountered to prove to herself that she could “indeed” accomplish what others believed and always told her she could not do. After finding herself unemployed for the third time in her life, she made a conscious commitment to go back to school to pursue a degree in Business Management with an emphasis on Human Resources, business and employment law! That accomplishment was obtained in 2002. Although she still struggles to escape the stereotypes still prevalent in today’s society to be viewed and accepted as a serious minded scholar to excel even further in the career of her choosing, she credits her success and willingness to soar in spite of the imaginary glass ceiling to her spiritual journey. [Thus says the LORD: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man AND makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the LORD.” (Jeremiah 17:5)]
Spending most of her life church hopping as much as she club hopped in her younger years, she spent a great deal of time in church attempting to get closer to God because she believed there was much more to life than the pain, ups and downs the world had presented as an option – in her eyes. First volunteering during the World Trade Center Disaster clean-up as a member/employee of the Salvation Army, she encountered her initial poltergeist experience which opened her eyes to the supernatural being far more real than she had imagined. But, it was not until 2006 when she learned it was possible to develop and have a real relationship with God! This came after making a request to God to materialize before her and pull-up a chair to allow her to have a one-on-one face-to-face conversation with Him concerning the issues of her life. During this supernatural Christian experience, she would never forget, she was quickened by the Holy Spirit in the middle of a meeting surrounded by twelve of her Salvation Army World Service Office co-workers which led to the beginning of her accelerated training with God as her personal teacher.
After her employment with the Salvation Army ended in 2008, she moved onward to receive and to accept a position at the U.S. Department of Energy Headquarters as a participant within the Career Intern Program (CIP). Little did she know she would receive the gift of speaking in tongues on the ground floor of the U.S. Department of Energy to know God truly has a sense of humor! Who said there was “no place” for God in Government, on the job, in a business setting or separation of church and state? Most certainly “not” God! Since that time, God told her not to worry about being rewarded or promoted (Psalm 75:6-7) by man for her accomplishments, because she was being commissioned to write for HIM. And HE was going to reward her far greater than any monetary value man could ever extend to her. [For my beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers. (3 John 1:2)]
Ann has since yielded to the call on her life to minister the Gospel in August of 2010 and has written her first book, WHAT DO I DO WITH MY PAIN in December of 2010. In acceptance of her second writing assignment to introduce others to their connection to the Twelve Tribes of Israel, she continues to speak out on behalf of the LORD! Her forthcoming book, From What Tribe Were You Birthed: Understanding the Significance of Aaron’s Breastplate is scheduled to be released July 2015. So, WHAT DOES SHE DO WITH HER PAIN? Happily PROCLAIM LIBERTY TO THE CAPTIVES!
My love and commitment to and for God is real! HE never ceases to amaze me and HE continues to make me aware of HIS sovereignty and presence in my life. First, there was a knock and I answered HIS call. Then there was training and a push to the front line. At times, I questioned my assignment; but, still I forged ahead with reluctance and wanting nothing more than to remain in HIS PERFECT WILL. Many times, I even doubted my confidence to fulfill HIS every command; but, HE prevailed to reveal HIS confidence in me. On the third day of the first month of the year, March, as referenced by the sacred biblical calendar, which is also the birth month and head position of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, God blessed me to receive an honorary doctorate in Divinity along with naming me as an Ambassador to United Nations and gifting me the Chaplaincy as His Kingdom representative. When God honors you and gives you the desires of your heart in accordance to His will, He does it big! I was blessed by Trinity International University of Ambassadors!
