What will you do to make an impact in this world?
"I want to share my talent as a story teller, write stories that will glorify Black people as opposed to the usual negative images. I would like to see and experience other cultures and by my example, get out of my comfort zone and have friends from different parts of the world. People can see how much I can get along with people from China, India, Israel and etc. There is so much to learn from them. I want to teach tolerance and respect for other cultures."

I have been working with children with Special Needs since 2000. I am currently working exclusively with children with Autism. On the side, I am a romance writer with two published books to my credit. I am also poet whenever the mood comes to me. I love to explore other world cultures and history. I am curious about the Asian culture: Chinese and Indian. I am a Christian woman who is single and living with two cats. I am seeking a spiritual man who obeys God than his selfish lusts and ambitions. I am a moody and complicated Cancer the Crab and an introverted, sometimes passive-agressive and nurturing person. There are things that I am consevative about and others I am liberal about. I am not interested in politics; I am interested in God's Word.

Do you like to read historical romances or black contemporary books?
Current Whereabouts:
I am historical romance writer.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
Oprah Winfrey spoke on writing as a catharsis for emotional trama and issues. I use writing as a means to express my truest emotions, opinions and creativity. I feel that I have my own story to tell and I want to tell it in my own way. Writing frees your mind and it broadcasts to the world who you are and where your talents lie. I would like to be able to be successful in romance writing. Then, I would like to take my skills up a level and try movie screenplay writing. How I would love to see my stories that I wrote being acted out by Hollywood actors. Once, I have accomplished that, I want to do television writing and produce my own show. For years, Black people have been tuning into soaps created by white folks. Over the years, they have managed to fit Black people into their soap opera world. I say it's time for Black people to create their own soap opera for TV. Let's see if white folks will tune in. I have enough creativity that's swimming inside my head to do it. I also want to work with Tyler Perry on some movie projects. (smile)

Art Club, JROTC, Mass Choir, JROTC Drill Team, Newspaper reporter and Semester Honor Roll in 1989
Best Memories:
Best memory of High School: Joining JROTC and earning the rank of Sargeant Major and earning ribbons and a medal. Let's not forget graduation and getting my diploma.
