I grew up on the South Side of Chicago in the Englewood Community. I attended Charles W. Earle from Head Start through 8th grade. I went on to attend Mather High School for 1 1/2 years before transferring and graduating from William Rainy Harper High School.
I attended Eastern Illinois University where I received a Bachelor Of Arts in Political Science,and subsequently attended Eastern Illinois University Graduate Program for Public Administration/Public Policy. I have taken time off from school to pursue my writing,but I plan too return to Eastern Illinois University in August 2010 to finish pursuing my Masters of Public Administration/Public Policy.
Even though I have great desires to continue writing children books/novels for people to read. I'm also looking forward to running for political office in the near future.
I like to write,and I'm an published author and Indie Filmmaker. I'm currently working on my second movie entitled,'Girls Like Us! Part 2,as well as, "She Had Me at Hello."
Life & Professional Aspirations:
My greatest desire is to make great films like Tyler Perry, emotional/meaningful films like Forest Whittaker,action packed films as Michael Bay and money making films like Scorsese,Spielberg,and George Lucas!
Sitting in Harper High School audience as a junior and hearing/seeing Ms. Oprah Winfrey speak to us about the importance of getting an Education,along with Willie Gault,and the Sara Lee corporation. I'll never forget that day.
