CaNeechia Sha’Raine Mack is the daughter of Cora Mack and first granddaughter to Tonnie and Mamie Mack, born and raised on the coastal waters of Moss Point, Mississippi. She has one sibling, Chaselon Mack. CaNeechia is a graduate of Moss Point High School, where she graduated in the top 10 of her class. While attending Moss Point High, CaNeechia was involved in many clubs and organizations such as the Beta Club, Key Club, Junior & Senior Homecoming Maid, and she was named an American All-Star Cheerleader in which she flew to London, England to participate in the London Christmas Parade.

After graduating from high school, CaNeechia attended the Summer Science Program here at Tougaloo College. She fell in love with the school and knew first hand that she wanted to be Miss Tougaloo. During her matriculation at Tougaloo, CaNeechia has always remained actively involved on campus. She was a member of the Bulldog Cheerleading Team, TAMS and the Yearbook staff. She was a member of the Pre-Alumni Council, the Pre-Health Club, the Sociology Club and the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society. Her biggest accomplishment was being elected Miss Tougaloo College 2013-2014.

CaNeechia graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Tougaloo College. She plans to attend nursing school in the spring of 2014. Her favorite quote is “Work hard for what you want, but harder for what you deserve.”
