I aspire to educate my two adopted children and give them every opportunity to excel in life.

Claim To Fame:

Retired teacher with 36 years teaching experience. I've taught 1st through Adult Education in three(3) different states. currently I hold certification in two states, LA and MS.

Most Memorable Moment:

One of my most memorable moments in college was when I went to Savannah, GA twith a select group of students representing the Journalism Department.

High School: O.W. Dillon High School in Kentwood, class of 1966

Activities & Accomplishments:

I was a member of the marching band and the concert band. I was also a memer of the theater/drama club. I played basketball and was chosen as all- district for my position.

Best Memories:

I competed against my sister in a beauty contest. I won! However, that was a bittersweet moment.
