Greetings HBCU Family,

My name is Levi Wise Kenneth Catoe Jr. I am an English major at CUNY/Medgar Evers College (PBI), and I have a deep-rooted interest in Black culture and in the Black community in general, motivated by the beauty and breadth of accomplishments of Black people throughout history worldwide. Ours is a history of such brilliance that it mustn’t be silenced and has to be recognized. As a student I’ve been trained under the guidance of several Cave Canem Fellows; such as poet/fictionist Tonya Cherie Hegamin, Natasha Nevada Diggs, Linda Susan Jackson, Bakar Wilson, and Kamilah Aisha Moon.
