I was born December 13, 1960 to the late Mrs. Janie Moore of Rockingham NC. I have 8 brothers and sisters in which my oldest brother died last year of cancer. I have lived in Richmond County all of my life and am divorced with two daughters, Angelique Spencer-Moore, a nurse with UNC-Chapel Hill Hospital and Cherice Washington a student at NC Central University in the Political Science division. I serve on various boards in my community, to name a few; Richmond County Board of Health (17 years) to present; Juvenile Crime Prevention Council, (13 years to present); Domestic Violence Task Force for Richmond County, (13 years to present); Southwest Regional Co-chair for North Carolina School Social Workers Association; Member of Executive Board of NCSSWA (16 years to present); Member of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Steering Committee for Richmond County, (9 years to present); Recipient of the North Carolina State School Social Worker of the Year, (2003-2004). Member of Richmond Community College Advisory Board for Human Services (1990-Present)

Life & Professional Aspirations:
I would love to be a Liscensed Clinical Social Worker and will set for the Exam in November of this year.

Nominated for NC State School Social Worker of the Year (2012). Was not the recipient of it.

Serving as President of the Honor Society at FSU.

Vice-President of Student Government, Colorguard Captain for Marching Raider Band, Outstanding Senior and Officer for Afro American Club

The Marching Raider Band. We won all levels of competition.
