Originally from Seattle, WA, Kenneth Davis is a passionate young professional with nearly 10 years of experience in the museum field. While an undergraduate History student at Tuskegee University, Davis had the opportunity to work with that National Park Service as an Interpretive Park Ranger at both the Tuskegee Institute National Historic Site and the Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site. Shortly after graduating from Tuskegee in 2004, Davis held for two years the position of Curator of Exhibition at the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute in Birmingham, AL. In 2010 Davis received his MFA in Museum Exhibition Planning and Design from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. Currently Davis travels often working from project to project as a Museum Exhibition Planner for the National Park Service at the Harpers Ferry Center (HFC) in Harpers Ferry, WV. Notable exhibit projects with HBCU connections Davis has helped develop as a National Park Service employee include the Tuskegee Airmen Hanger II Exhibition located in Tuskegee, AL and the Booker T. Washington National Monument Exhibition in Hardy, VA.

Kenneth has presented at several Professional Conferences which include the following. 1.Session presenter at the Association of African American Museums 2010 annual conference in Pittsburgh, PA. “Hip-Hop Approach to Exhibition Planning and Design”. 2. Session Presenter at the National Park Service’s 2010 Leading Excellence Interpretation and Education Workshop in Baltimore, MD. “Removing Constraints, Creating Connection”. Baltimore, MD. “Understanding Museum Exhibition Planning and Design” 3.Session presenter at the Association of African American Museum 2012 annual conference in Baltimore, MD. “Understanding Museum Exhibition Planning and Design”. 4.Panelist at the Words Beats & Life 2012 Teach-In on the Howard University Campus in Washington, DC "Context Matters".
