I enrolled in the cosmetology program in cross land.So I can have a career for myself when I graduate I love doing hair and makeup. Being in cosmetology is a passion for me to express myself.In eleventh grade i attended Ms.browns class, Ms.lauretta,and Mr.ohara's class. I loved those classes. Ms.browns opinion gives me a different view on whats going on around us I've learned a lot from Mr.ohara's a cool guy who teaches in a nonchalant way that I understand quickly i learned more about my heritage from him. Ms laureta helps me see that i have to be able to understand work the bast that I can.this year i have Ms.Gustin,ms Carson and Ms.Dougar.I like the classes so far so no complaints i wanted a Spanish class this year but i don't need one because cosmetology counts as a credit for a Spanish class.some extra curricular activity's I've done is model.i was in a company that i modeled with.i also sing for the lord at my church and different events i love singing i feel that's my calling in life i feel my best self when i sing.its something that comes natural to me.i also help out at a church with cooking meals for people to eat i do that at DuPont park seventh day Adventist church. I've also been an SGA member which helps me learn about problem solving and how to be a leader.i volunteered at a daycare for ms.lions who doesn't go to cross land no more i love kids and that was very fun for me. I'm in a singing group at my church where i can express myself singing wise and get to make friendship's. I've maintained a 3.0 GPA average.I have learned a lot about myself during these four years. I've learned about relationship's. I also just learned recently to finally except who i am as a young lady with dark skin. For years i didn't except my skin color but not long ago i looked in the mirror and i said I'm a beautiful girl and i have beautiful skin its time to except that and ever since then i feel like Im coming into my own.That's something that I'm glad i have over come. I'm going to Oakwood University by the grace of God. That's the school i feel is best for me, its a seventh day Adventist college it is faith based.I love kids and i feel i want to major in early childhood learning.I also love singing and i feel i should major in singing or music production.I know for a fact I'll minor in business administration I would love to have my own makeup or hair line.I would also like to have my own YouTube channel where i can record makeup and hair videos. that's how my life has been I cant wait to go to college and meet new people and new cultures.i cant wait to see new things and meet new people and make new friends. I'm excited.
