Most Memorable Moment:
The total experience at an HBCU was one of, if not the most, wonderful times of my life. I attended a primarily white university in Kentucky as a freshman and always felt my life was in danger due to the political and social environment of 1968. After Central State, I accepted a fellowship to the University of Wisconsin in Madison, and again there was no comparison to being in an HBCU which felt like family and a natural fit social and culturally.
High School: Urbana High School in Urbana, OH class of 1968
I currently work with Hawaii Department of Education as Substitute Teacher
I have 4 years of experience working in the Teaching / K-12 Education industry.
