Most Memorable Moment:
I started college in 2019, and the pandemic hit in 2020. This was unprecedented times and very challenging for all students. When class went virtual, having to adjust to not being in the classroom, and maintaining academic success made me a stronger individual. I was majoring in a Healthcare program, in which was crucial to be in a classroom environment in order to obtain hands-on training to become successful in this given career. But myself, along with my classmates, persevered and we made it! I will be graduating in December 2021 with my Associates of Science (AS) in Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). I have taken and pass the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) for licensure in the state of Georgia. I also will be returning to Albany State University (ASU) this Spring with goals of obtaining my Bachelor in Health and Human Performance (Exercise Science), and apply for Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) graduate program. My future goals is to become a Physical Therapist (PT) and work with injured athletes because of a personal testimony when I was injured playing football. Going to therapy was the catalyst that propelled me to want to study in this field.
