My name is Roman Navarro and I'm from Stockton, California. I'm 19 years old and currently a sophomore at Stanislaus State University. I've been programming since I picked up the book Automate the Boring Stuff with Python by Al Sweigart at 15 and what started off as a hobby has blossomed into a full-on passion and soon enough -hopefully- a livelihood. Life & Professional Aspirations:
I am currently a sophomore studying computer science at California State University, Stanislaus, where I am a member of the Computer Science club and member of the Association of Computing Machinery. My graduating cum laude from Aspire Langston Hughes Academy and a gpa of 3.28 made it possible to attain a full scholarship.

Most Memorable Moment:
Making a website for my ethnic studies class, when we were assigned to create a project representing black history month. Created with HTML, CSS, and launched with Heroku, I volunteered to present it for extra credit via projector during the annual Black Power Matters university event, attended by over 100 participants. Presentation well-received by an engaged crowd.
