• Manage 5-person team to recruit new applicants, build ties with partner institutions, and involve current participants and alumni in Marketing and Outreach projects. • Provide professional development and engagement opportunities for current program participants and alumni. • Develop strategy for and to oversee the implementation of all aspects of the Marketing and Outreach program for ELP. • Ensure quality and continuity in communications across all ELP media channels and platforms. • Oversee and manage all Outreach projects to promote English Language Programs, targeting multiple - and often overlapping – audiences. • Build processes and systems to curate information and report on Marketing and Outreach team progress to the U.S. Department of State and other stakeholders. • Travel to conferences and other events, as needed, to make presentations; supervises conference activities and staff, networks with key stakeholders, etc.

 Worked with faculty on curriculum development, designing assessment tools and communicating and implementing SCAD policy, procedures and requirements.  Provided leadership and oversaw administration and programming of mid-sized English as a Second Language program (SCAD Language Studio – SLS).  Conducted annual evaluations and multiple faculty observations for 12-person faculty team (8 full-time, 4 part-time) as well as mentoring faculty via observation reporting, and pre and post observation meetings.  Managed day-to-day operations of the SLS, including hiring faculty and staff; monitoring facility use; auditing ESL student schedules; registering ESL students in Banner; and managing student and faculty issues (e.g. academic advisement, student concern alerts, etc.).  Taught ESL classes (five 5-hour classes per year).

 Oversaw administration and programming of mid-sized Intensive English Program.  Managed day-to-day operations of the IEP, including hiring faculty and staff, student registration and changes on Banner, student and faculty issues, academic advising and concerns, and specialized inquiries and requests.  Supervised and oversaw work of team of four administrative staff: Educational Program Specialist (DSO, academic advising, student activities); Admissions Coordinator (IEP admissions, enrollment, housing, recruitment /marketing); Administrative Specialist (purchasing, accounting, contracts, operations); and front desk receptionist.  Developed and implemented marketing plan for IEP student recruitment and retention, including updating IEP website and marketing materials, attending recruitment fairs and gathering information on working with agents.  Collaborated with supervisor and IEP faculty on projection, preparation and analysis of the annual program budget, strategic planning, program re-structuring, hiring, and faculty observations and evaluation.  Projected enrollment needs and scheduling teaching assignments for lecturers, GTAs, and part-time instructors (25+) each semester in 30 – 50 course sections/semester.  Selected GTAs and PTIs for semester faculty appointments.  Created proposals and budgets, and completing administrative tasks for special and professional programs, including a pre-business (graduate-level) and pre-LL.M. program.  Served as primary liaison for the IEP with other campus units such as Undergraduate Admissions, Student Accounts, Registrar’s Office, Auxiliary Services and Sponsored Billing.  Taught a variety of ESL courses (all skills, all levels) to pre-matriculated students.
