In collaboration with the Administrative Deputy Director and Principal Investigator, responsible for managing and leading the Executive Management Team on all World Trade Center Program Operations and Quality initiatives of healthcare allied program services delivered by an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals and administrative staff. Known for encouraging cooperative relationships emphasizing integrity, accountability, and service. Duties associated with this position involve overall program operational management, participate in development of recruitment plans, provide mentorship to new managers and supervisors to include career development goals, direct financial planning and resource allocation, quality & compliance, directing the implementation of a successful quality program with effectiveness and efficiency, identifying challenges, mitigate and resolve issues while providing timely resolutions, improve systems and processes, increase quality and productivity by optimizing personnel strengths and performing root cause analytics, submission of bi-annual program sponsor NIOSH reports.
Provide leadership, technical oversight, and coordination of projects; through project coordination meetings and internal/external communications, monitors progress against project schedules and budgets; recommends allocation of resources as required to accomplish goals
Provides strategic input and oversees the development and delivery of projects: provides overall operational and project management direction, monitors milestones, assigns resources and manages outcomes of programs, projects and initiatives; Provides status updates to senior leadership and raises concerns to ensure successful execution.
Identifies, analyzes and recommends opportunities for growth, efficiency or optimization which support key business goals or strategies; Leads organizational change and process improvements to maximize success; Collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to support the ongoing change management process
Develop and track team performance metrics to ensure Program quality goals are met and maintained. Work with informatics team to design dashboards for each department, conduct audits, review data and write reports
Oversee and provide support, guidance and coaching to program teams and team leaders. Oversee and monitor completion and submission of timesheets, vacation and sick time requests
Interview, recommend for hire, and ensure the training and onboarding of new staff while maintaining performance and placement of current staffing is appropriate
Provides data and reports to support business decisions and regularly negotiates for needed support and resolution with leadership in other departments
Works with Executive Clinical Director and Administrative Deputy Director on planning and execution of strategies to improve business operations and to achieve outcomes; Provides guidance and input on the department's strategic direction and technical roadmap
Develops and implements creative solutions to a wide range of operational gaps and problems based on an in- depth understanding of evolving business needs; Ensures the adoption of these solutions, measuring the impact of efficiencies gained
Lead monthly Quality Assurance Committee meetings; Ensure CQI projects stay on task; Collaborate with managers and supervisors who make up the committee subgroups to guide the CQI work.
Investigate cases that do not meet standards, perform root cause analyses, identify mode of failures, and responsible for developing solutions to prevent future failures; Track all investigations and provide written analysis of results.
Ensure the semi-annual quality report and associated audits and reviews are conducted timely and the final report is complete and accurate; Working with QA core to assess collected data, review data reports, identify problems and potential corrective actions, measure the impact of changes and summarize results in formal reports and presentations
Manage and oversee multiple projects aimed at furthering Programs mission in our network and the broader community, including organizing special events; developing a variety of communications and presentations to a variety of audiences; assessing communications strategies, including effectiveness and reach of communications; managing outreach effort to members to ensure high participation in monitoring and treatment
Collaborate with clinic management to develop patient schedules, assess the efficiency and make improvements. Monitor clinic volume and adjust patient schedule throughout the day to ensure Program retention goals and member needs are met, monthly volume goals are attained, and provide data reports to the Director
Ensure standardized protocols and quality initiatives are adhered to so as to improve patient outcomes
Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations and contractual agreements
Responsible for all facility activities including day to day and program relocation efforts
Effectively resolve complex issues and follow-up to ensure positive outcome
Conduct onsite staff training communicating clearly and concisely on protocols, regulations and program changes; Coordinate multi-site management to include personnel, IT, facilities, training & team building
Plans to coordinate, supervise, and evaluate programs, services, staffing, equipment and infrastructures to fulfill all contract requirements satisfactorily.
Accountable for renewing and reviewing all vendor implementations, contract renewals, leases, MOUs etc.
