William & Mary: - Studying Abroad in Cape Town, South Africa (July 2019) for a "Dance as a Lens for Social Justice" program - Establishing an 1-credit course through the Music Department for membership in Ebony Expressions Gospel Choir - Coordinating annual Gospel Fests - Choreographing and performing routines at annual iRep Africa showcases that celebrated the beauty and cultures of the African Diaspora - Becoming lead actress for the first time in a major theatre production ("The Children's Hour") - Winning "Train Like an Alpha" as a freshman with my friends - Studying the histories, cultures, struggles, and resilience of the African Diaspora as an Africana Studies major and solidifying an inner confidence as a result.
