I am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science at Bethune Cookman University, driven by my passion to use technology to make a positive impact in the world. I believe that technology is a powerful tool that can improve lives and advance humanity, and I am committed to playing a role in this advancement as a Computer Scientist. My aspirations are deeply rooted in my desire to leave a lasting impact and contribute to a better world. I see my purpose as making the world a better place than I found it, and I view my education and career as the means to achieve this goal. During my time at the university, I have set three key goals to achieve: Firstly, I aim to blossom into an empowered and confident young woman, working on my spirituality and self-presentation to become my truest self. Secondly, I seek to expand my social horizons, overcoming social anxiety and connecting with like-minded individuals through clubs and organizations. This will also serve as an opportunity to network and pave the way for my post-graduation career. Lastly, I am dedicated to acquiring skills and experiences that will serve me well beyond college, sharpening my computer science expertise and preparing for a successful career. In the professional realm, I envision myself as a Computer Scientist working for a tech company, collaborating with talented individuals to solve global issues through technology. My ambition is to excel in my role, climbing the ranks within the company while ensuring a prosperous and comfortable life for myself. Additionally, I plan to give back to my community by opening a STEM-based organization in my hometown. This organization will empower young girls to harness the power of technology, teaching them coding and fostering creativity to effect positive change in our community and beyond. With my unwavering dedication, passion for technology, and commitment to making a difference, I am poised to achieve my goals and leave a meaningful mark on the world.
