Amara Frazier is a rising senior music major from Connecticut. As a classically trained pianist of 14 years, she is passionate about music education, musicology and performance. She is a piano tutor for college and K-12 students. She publishes and presents research at conferences nationally to advocate for racial equities in piano studies. She demonstrates versatility through participation in multiple music ensembles, such chamber, jazz and choir. She was a founding member and serves as an executive member for the Fisk MTNA Collegiate Chapter. She has earned several honors and awards for her scholastic achievement from organizations such as UNCF/Mellon, Fisk Honors Convocation, Fisk Research Symposium and Fisk Department of Music.
Current Whereabouts:
