My teaching career covers 50+ years from Pre School through College. I am a trained Montessori Teacher along with public school teaching credentials. After completing Master Degree in Studio arts, I continued post grad studies in Art History, concentration in African American/African art. I have also taught college level Art Education in addition to Art History. Professional positions include 14 years as a mentor teacher, former member of writing team State of California, Visual and Performing Arts Curriculum Guide. In addition to instructional activities, I organize and curate community and college art exhibitions. In 2004, I founded tps Creative Expressions, Inc, 501c3 art organization. Would love to bring my talents and experiences to an HBCU campus..
