Kiera Cunningham is an emerging artist and educator whose work centers on drawing and painting as tools for exploration, expression, and connection. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Drawing and Painting from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual and Performing Arts from Savannah State University.
Cunningham has served as an instructor of record for undergraduate courses in Structure and Form II and Landscape, where she developed and led studio-based curricula that emphasize critical thinking and visual storytelling. Her teaching practice is grounded in fostering psychological safety in the classroom, encouraging students to take creative risks while building the skills necessary to thrive both within and beyond academic spaces.
