Hello, my name is Mariah Chanel Barber. I was born and raised in the Twin Cities Metro Area of Minnesota for the majority of my life. I enjoy immersing myself into opportunities that allow me to advocate for youth policies and practices. I have spent my entire High School Career working with a community non profit, We Win Institute where I create programs curriculums and perform direct service task with youth.

In 2024, I Co-Founded the Black Student Union at my High School in Columbia Heights, Minnesota. As a youth representative, I am apart of Brooklyns Bridge Alliance for Youth where I am apart of a youth advisory council. As an addition to the council I am also apart of the REIMAGINE project as a Black Youth Mental Health Facilitator. I also love to sing with KNOWN MPLS.
