Mia Thomas is a Political Science major committed to environmental justice, sustainability, and political advocacy. As a former Posse Scholar she brings experience in leadership research, community engagement, and policy analysis. Her academic interests examine the intersections of race, environment, and public policy. Mia is driven by a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach to addressing inequities affecting historically marginalized communities. She aims to advance policies that strengthen access, expand opportunity, and support resilient, sustainable development. Her goal is to find a career where her passions intersect . Mia plans to attend law school and pursue a career in lobbying, using her communication skills and policy insight to advance equitable and effective legislation.
