I don't have any work experience, as I am a dedicated student-athlete with the majority of my free time devoted to school and baseball. This includes studying, lifting weights, hitting at the batting cage, etc. With that being said, I have an amazing work ethic, I am a critical thinker, and I am mentally tough, meaning that when adversity comes, I can work through it.

Data Analytics/Science, Baseball, Meeting new minds

Life & Professional Aspirations:

I envision obtaining my college degree in data science and declaring for the Major League Baseball (MLB) draft the summer after graduation. I see myself being a professional athlete and working my way up to the Major Leagues. If I do not make it to the MLB, I still plan on using my background in athletics with my data science degree to find a career in an MLB team’s analytical department. I also intend to share the skills and knowledge learned in baseball to positively impact my community. I participate in the Atlanta Braves Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (Braves RBI) program. Braves RBI is designed to guide young ballplayers from underserved and diverse communities. This program has allowed me to connect with former and current MLB players, coaches, and scouts, so it is important to give back when I am established in the MLB.

Claim To Fame:

I have not yet been to college, but in high school, I was a two-year varsity baseball player, an IB student, a part of North Atlanta's peer leadership program, and was involved in many clubs.

Most Memorable Moment:

Once again, not in college yet, but my most memorable high school moment was organizing my school's first trunk or treat event during Halloween as a peer leader in my school. We had high school students as well as children from the community come and enjoy themselves.
