Claim To Fame:
My claim to fame isn’t something that happened overnight—it’s something I’ve built piece by piece. As an architecture student at Prairie View A&M University, I’ve learned that success isn’t just about designing structures, but about designing discipline, resilience, and vision within myself. There were moments when the workload felt overwhelming and self-doubt tried to take the lead, but instead of stepping back, I chose to step up. What sets me apart is my ability to balance creativity with commitment. Whether it’s long studio nights, managing responsibilities outside of school, or showing up polished and prepared in spaces that demand excellence, I’ve become known for consistency and grace under pressure. I don’t just aim to meet expectations—I aim to elevate them. My claim to fame is being someone who grows through challenges and carries herself with intention. I take pride in representing myself, my university, and any organization I’m part of with poise, integrity, and ambition. I’m not famous for one moment—I’m known for the standard I set every day.
Most Memorable Moment:
College has been one of the most transformative chapters of my life, filled with moments that shaped who I am becoming. Some of my most memorable experiences have been the simple yet meaningful ones—late-night conversations with friends after long days, laughing over shared stress, celebrating small wins, and forming bonds that turned classmates into family. Those moments reminded me that community is just as important as achievement. Meeting new people in college expanded my perspective in ways I never expected. Being surrounded by individuals from different backgrounds, cultures, and ambitions pushed me to step outside my comfort zone and grow socially and personally. Each new connection taught me something valuable—about collaboration, confidence, and the importance of showing up as my authentic self. Academically, college challenged me to think deeper and work harder. As an architecture student, I learned not only technical skills, but also discipline, time management, and problem-solving. Every project, critique, and long studio night strengthened my resilience and sharpened my passion for learning. Seeing my academic efforts pay off through success in my courses has been one of my proudest accomplishments. Beyond the classroom, expanding my crochet business became a defining part of my college journey. Balancing entrepreneurship with academics taught me responsibility, creativity, and perseverance. Watching my business grow while pursuing my degree showed me that I am capable of managing multiple goals and turning passion into purpose. Looking back, my college experience has been a collection of growth-filled moments—friendships that grounded me, new people who inspired me, lessons that challenged me, achievements that motivated me, and goals that pushed me forward. These memories will always represent a time when I learned not only how to succeed, but how to evolve
