My love of all things Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) has helped shape the way I move personally and professionally. I am used to being the only woman and/or black person in many rooms. I have attended architecture camps, graphic design courses, robotics classes, coding workshops, photography seminars, etc. I recognize that I am representing my communities in everything that I say and do, and how accomplished I become. My goal is to not only create more opportunities for women and black people, but to ensure that these opportunities are front and center and accessible for us. I recognize that the advancement opportunities that I have received were due to others investing in my future and sharing them with me, and I want to do the same for others.
