About   (request update)
My name is Teman Walston, I am a future/aspiring data science and cybersecurity professional. My academic focus is supported by hands-on experience in Python, JavaScript, and Linux-based systems, along with practical exposure to tools such as Wireshark, Nmap, and VirtualBox. I have developed a strong interest in ethical hacking and data protection, with a goal of contributing to safer and more transparent digital environments.

Through my role as an intern with Nevada Help Desk, I have gained practical experience in cybersecurity by participating in workshops and training sessions focused on online safety, incident response, and data security. These experiences have strengthened my technical foundation while also improving my ability to collaborate with other people.
Current Whereabouts:
I like playing video games and drawing. But my main focus is Cybersecurity and Information Technology.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
Growing up, I’ve always been surrounded by change. I was born and raised in Washington, D.C., moved to Baltimore at a young age, and now live in Las Vegas. Each transition forced me to adapt, meet new people, and figure things out quickly. Over time, I realized that this ability to adjust and stay focused in new environments would become one of my biggest strengths. My interest in technology developed from a curiosity about how systems work and how they can be protected. As I began learning more about cybersecurity and data science, I became especially interested in how data can be used to make decisions while also needing to be secured from threats. That combination—understanding systems and protecting them—shaped the direction I want to take in my career. Professionally, I aspire to build a career where I can work in cybersecurity and data science, helping organizations protect their systems while using data to improve outcomes. I want to continue developing my skills in areas like ethical hacking, network security, and data analysis through hands-on experience and continuous learning. More importantly, I want to be someone who can solve real problems and contribute in meaningful ways. At the same time, my goals go beyond just my own success. I come from a background where community and opportunity matter, and I want to be in a position where I can give back, mentor others, and help open doors for people who are trying to find their path in technology. Ultimately, my aspiration is to build a career that reflects both growth and purpose—one where I can succeed professionally while also making a lasting impact on the communities I come from.
