I am a senior Elementary Education (K�6) major at Jackson State University with a passion for helping children learn and grow. I am actively involved in the Sonic Boom of the South, where I serve as the Head Section Leader. In this role, I mentor fellow band members and help foster teamwork, discipline, and excellence. Through my coursework and field experiences, I have gained valuable experience creating engaging lessons and educational activities for young learners. My goal is to become an elementary school teacher who creates positive learning environments, inspires student success, and promotes a lifelong love of learning.

My claim to fame is being part of the Sonic Boom of the South and helping lead my section while working toward becoming an elementary school teacher.

Most Memorable Moment:

Some of my most memorable college moments have been my experiences at Jackson State University. Being a member of the Sonic Boom of the South has given me opportunities to perform at football games, travel, and create lasting friendships with fellow band members. Serving as an assistant section leader has been especially meaningful because it allowed me to develop leadership skills and help guide younger members of the band. Another memorable part of my college experience has been studying elementary education and completing classroom-related assignments and lesson plans. Learning how to become an effective teacher and preparing to work with children has strengthened my passion for education. I have also enjoyed participating in campus events, meeting new people, and growing both academically and personally. These experiences have helped shape who I am today and have made my college years both rewarding and unforgettable.
