Claim To Fame:
My new claim to fame in college has been when I received my white coat in STEM. As a former student athlete, this really set the bar for me, and I like to think of it as a part of my new beginning.
Most Memorable Moment:
My most memorable college moments are when I first arrived at Livingstone college, and I had to endure preseason conditioning as being a part of the men's basketball team. It was an exciting feeling to be working hard to get what I set out to accomplish. Another memorable moment for me was during my first year of college at Wake Forest. While being a part of the men's basketball team, a few of my teammates and I sought to attend an HBCU party at Winston Salem State. The party was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed myself. Receiving my white coat was another memorable moment for me as I mentioned earlier. I think this really set the bar for me, and as I looked at a few pictures and videos of me receiving my reward and being a part of the group of scholars, I felt accomplished and that my hard work had paid off. Lastly, currently being away from Livingstone at an internship program has been very memorable. Exploring a new environment, enjoying a new city, and continuing to press forward to accomplish my goals has been fulfilling. Also, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention my gratitude to suit up for all of the basketball games that I've gotten the opportunity to attend and play in at the Collegiate level.
