About   (request update)
I am a current junior undergraduate psychology major with a minor in political science at Dillard University with experience in child advocacy, program management, and customer service. I am eager to contribute to organizations dedicated to social justice and child welfare, while continuing to develop my skills in advocacy and support services.
Current Whereabouts:
I love to listen to music and podcasts and read in my free time and well as taking nature walks and basking in the sun. I love to travel and want to experience cultures through a non-western lens. I am very creative and enjoy singing, drawing and painting whenever I get the chance to. I pride myself in being an erudite scholar, finding joy in studying the humanities.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
I would love to start a non-profit organization centered around holistic services for underserved youth within marginalized communities. I plan on obtaining my master's degree in social welfare and international affairs, with subsequent Ph.D. in Social Welfare. My focus is to obtain a career in policy analytics and humanitarian aid, with an emphasis in child welfare, and equitable resource distribution. By means of research, teaching and advocacy, I intend to design interventions that promote mutual aid, and public spirit, with regard to underserved communities.
