Most of my experience entails of community centered work. I work at the East Oakland Youth Development Center, where we educate young students on all educational aspects while encouraging and promoting their potential for black excellence and community togetherness. I've played football, volleyball, and soccer while in high school and have been apart of the Peer Forward initiative for 2 years and the Rise East initiative for 1 year. I LOVE MY COMMUNITY!!!
Current Whereabouts:
Currently, I am into learning new songs to play on the piano, hanging out with friends, family, and my loved one, and helping out during community events.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
I aspire to enter into the field of International Economic Affairs and Trade Policy for the long term goal of improving educational access for all minority background scholars!

Youth Instructor | East Oakland Youth Development Center

As a youth instructor, I teach 1st - 5th grade students in my engineering class. As a collective, we have multiple lessons that involve hands on building of bridges and cars, protective systems to demonstrate stability, and much more! We mainly focus on the aspects of civil engineering, but touch on all aspects of engineering through-out the year.
