I am a Political Science student at Howard University with a passion for public service, civic engagement, and youth advocacy. As a Student Commissioner for the Virginia Beach City Council, I launched RefreshVB, a community initiative that mobilized students to clean local parks while earning service hours. I have spoken at voter engagement events, advocated for youth participation in government, and worked with Zachary Parker on efforts to establish Washington, D.C.’s first youth council. A Dean’s List student and scholarship recipient, I aspire to become a civil rights attorney dedicated to advancing equity, justice, and opportunities for underserved communities.
Current Whereabouts:
Building community impact projects, connecting young people to public service opportunities, exploring law and politics, staying active in leadership organizations, and finding new ways to make a difference.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
My goal is to become a civil rights attorney who advocates for justice, equity, and opportunity for underserved communities. Professionally, I hope to use the law to protect individual rights and create meaningful change. In life, I aspire to be a servant leader who empowers young people, strengthens communities, and leaves a lasting impact through public service and advocacy.

Claim To Fame:
My "claim to fame" in college is my commitment to civic engagement and community leadership. As a Political Science student at Howard University, I have worked to create meaningful change both on and off campus. From serving as a Student Commissioner with the Virginia Beach City Council to launching the RefreshVB initiative that mobilized students to clean local parks, I have consistently used leadership as a tool for service. I have also advocated for youth voter engagement through speaking opportunities with the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and community organizations. My peers know me as someone who turns ideas into action and works to ensure young people have a voice in shaping their communities.
Most Memorable Moment:
One of my most memorable college moments was connecting with Zachary Parker to discuss creating Washington, D.C.’s first youth council. As a student at Howard University, it was inspiring to help bring youth voices into local government. That experience, along with earning Dean’s List after my first year, reinforced my passion for leadership, public service, and creating positive change.
