I am a Psychology major with a minor in Neuroscience at Howard University with aspirations of becoming a research clinical psychiatrist. Originally from Springfield, Massachusetts, I am passionate about improving mental health care and advocating for underserved communities. I currently maintain a 3.6 GPA while balancing academics with leadership and service. My experiences as a MIAA Youth Ambassador and member of the Hampden County District Attorney’s Youth Advisory Board have strengthened my commitment to creating positive change. I strive to use my education, voice, and experiences to uplift others and make a lasting impact in my community and beyond.
Current Whereabouts:
Right now, I am focused on growing academically, personally, and professionally at Howard University. I enjoy psychology and neuroscience, learning about mental health, and finding ways to give back to my community. Outside of academics, I love music, performing with the Drew Hall Step Team, spending time with friends, and exploring new opportunities that challenge me to grow. I am passionate about leadership, advocacy, and becoming the best version of myself every day.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
My ultimate goal is to become a research clinical psychiatrist dedicated to improving mental health care for underserved communities. I hope to attend medical school after graduating from Howard University and combine research, advocacy, and patient care to create meaningful change in the field of mental health. Claim To Fame:
My claim to fame in college is my commitment to leadership and service. As a Howard University Student maintaining a 3.6 GPA, I have dedicated myself to making an impact both on and off campus. Through my work as a MIAA Youth Ambassador and member of the Hampden County District Attorney's Youth Advisory Board, I have advanced for mental health awareness, youth empowerment, and community engagement. I hope to be known not just for my achievements, but for the positive difference I make in the lives of others.
Most Memorable Moment:
One of my most memorable college moments was joining the Drew Hall Step Team during my freshman year and competing in Howard University’s ResFest competition. As someone coming from Springfield, Massachusetts, I was excited to meet new people, but I never expected to find a family so quickly. The weeks leading up to the competition were filled with long rehearsals, laughter, and learning to trust one another. We pushed each other to be better every day, and through that process I gained confidence not only as a performer, but as a person. When we finally stepped onto the stage and won ResFest, it was an unforgettable feeling. It was not just about the trophy. It was about realizing what can happen when a group of people believes in one another and works toward a common goal. That moment reminded me why I chose Howard University. It showed me the power of community, tradition, and perseverance. Winning alongside my teammates is a memory I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
