I am a dedicated and goal-oriented college student currently attending Paine College, where I am pursuing a degree in Mass Communications. Growing up in a small town has shaped my values of hard work, resilience, and determination. Throughout my educational journey, I have learned that success is not defined by the obstacles a person faces, but by the commitment they have to overcoming them. Doing hair has become more than just a way for me to make money. It's something I genuinely enjoy because it allows me to be creative while helping people feel more confident. As a self-employed hairstylist, I schedule my own appointments, communicate with clients, manage my business, and make sure every person leaves my chair happy. Doing hair has taught me how to be responsible, stay organized, manage my time, and build relationships with people from different backgrounds. Balancing school and my business has helped me become more disciplined and independent, and it has shown me that with hard work and consistency, I can accomplish anything I set my mind to.
