Life & Professional Aspirations:

I aspire to build my career in Civil Engineering to not only build wealth, but build a fortune I can distribute to other young students in need of scholarships, or overall support that isn't given by their immediate family. I personally know what it's like to be in that position, so moving forward I'd like to use my opportunity to give others 10x more opportunities.

Claim To Fame:

I personally didn't make many big statements to start building my claim to fame, however, one of my biggest achievements in my first year of college was tutoring young students with the Pearson Foundation. I enjoyed being active with the students, as well as reviewing Bible verses & breaking down the deeper meanings of them. This service made me feel a lot closer to home especially since the students reminded me of my siblings back home, & the hospitality of the environment was always welcoming.

Most Memorable Moment:

Some of my most memorable moments in college were making a variety of friends, especially having the opportunity to connect with people from all types of backgrounds, cities, & states. I was able to get the experience of having basically full freedom & that it was like to start taking on responsibilities of my own. College has really taught me how we can also work together to make changes & to bring a change to our own enviornment. As a young girl I remember seeing photos of old protest & while being in college I realized how much empowerment was within the community. There was often fellow students walking down the plaza advocating for students to join them in a protest later that week. I didn't make it to said protest, however, it was the effort, outgoing personalities, & genuine care for making changes within society & in our generations knowledge of what goes on around us.
