About   (request update)
I am a Health & Exercise Science scholar at Bethune-Cookman University with an interest in healthcare, leadership, and helping people. I hail from the British Virgin Islands, and from all my experiences, I am a determined, resilient, and goal-driven person who believes in education, personal development, and making a positive impact within the community. As a student, I have always been able to demonstrate my leadership through campus activities, sports, volunteering, and other professional experience while remaining committed to academics. Through being a team leader, mentor, and participant of the Pre-Health Summer Readiness Series, my leadership qualities, such as good communication skills, teamwork, and problem-solving ability have been developed.

Claim To Fame:
"My claim to fame" in college is my dedication to servant leadership. Though proud of being a four-time President's List scholar with a 3.90 GPA, I feel like the positive influence that I have had beyond the academic realm truly characterizes my experience at college. Through my involvement in different organizations, I have been able to serve and lead, from being the Miss Caribbean Students Association for the 2026-2027 year to serving as the Vice President and Co-Public Relations Officer of SISTUHS, Incorporated; the Secretary of the Orchesis Dance Ensemble; and the Parliamentarian of the Caribbean Students Association to the Co-Fundraising Chair for SISTUHS, Inc. Outside of leadership roles, I have devoted more than 100 hours of my time towards voluntary activities, and at present, I serve as an intern for the Wildcat Summer Pre-Health Readiness Series, in which capacity I mentor and guide the incoming pre-health students in their college experience. My colleagues are aware of the fact that I am a person who can be counted upon, who is available and ready to help whenever there is a need. Whether organizing events, mentoring students, doing voluntary work in the community, or motivating others, I aim to leave everyone better than I have found them. In the end, what I hope will be my lasting legacy here at Bethune-Cookman University is that while I held positions of leadership, I did so by being a servant leader whenever possible. What I consider to be my greatest achievement is not the awards or leadership roles but the positive effect I have had on others.
Most Memorable Moment:
One of the most significant events during college was not an event itself; it was rather a realization of how much I had progressed. In my freshman year, I would admire those juniors and seniors who seemed to have their lives planned out already, being leaders of the university, mentoring others, and being ready for their lives beyond campus. At that time, I asked myself if I would ever achieve such status. But now, as a junior, I find myself doing all these things that I used to admire in others: taking a leadership position, mentoring new arrivals, and planning to graduate even earlier than expected, which is Fall 2027, instead of Spring 2028. Thus, every hard night of studying, every opportunity I took, and each obstacle that I overcame made me become this very person I used to admire.
