Claim To Fame:
If I had to describe my claim to fame, it would be learning how to become an adult. Growing up taught me that adulthood isn't something that happens overnight—it's something you learn through responsibility, independence, and perseverance. Over the past few years, I've had to balance school, work, finances, and planning for my future while learning to make decisions on my own. There have been challenges and moments where I had to figure things out without having all the answers, but each experience has helped me grow into a stronger and more confident person. Learning how to manage my time, take accountability for my choices, and keep moving forward even when life gets difficult has been one of my greatest accomplishments. While I still have more to learn, I'm proud of the person I'm becoming, and I know these lessons will continue to help me succeed in college, my career, and every stage of life.
Most Memorable Moment:
I technically haven't started my first year at Virginia state since I am a transfer student, but I did spend my first year at Chico State University. My most memorable moments started as soon as I became apart of my first college friend group. With all of us coming from different backgrounds we never ran out of activities to share with one another. Some included hiking, country line dancing, pickle ball, Volleyball, and binge watching each others favorite shows. We even became close enough to share hurtful experiences, as well as our most valued memories. This made my first year college experience more than what I could've hoped for. Being able to wake up every morning away from home, knowing I had people two doors down that cared deeply about me made college feel like more than just classes, homework, and exams. I felt at home.
