Shoun Hill is a visual journalist and educator with more than three decades of experience documenting American life through the lens. Originally from Frederick, Maryland, Hill�s career began in 1993 when he joined The Gleaner in Henderson, Kentucky � shortly after earning his Master of Arts degree from Ohio University. What followed was a distinguished career in print photojournalism that took him from the American South to the nation�s media capital.
Hill served as a staff photographer at major daily newspapers in Memphis, Tennessee and Orlando, Florida, building a portfolio that spans the full breadth of American public life. His assignments read like a highlights reel of the country�s defining moments: Super Bowl sidelines, NBA courts, and the charged atmosphere of presidential campaign
