Claim To Fame:
Becoming a student who refuses to let setbacks define her. From earning A’s in all three of my Summer courses to building my own hair business, Sleek.Society, while pursuing a Public Health degree, I have learned to turn challenges into motivation. My “claim to fame” is that I am always finding a way to keep moving forward
Most Memorable Moment:
Some of my most memorable college moments have come from the people and experiences that have shaped me outside the classroom. From volunteering in my community and getting involved in campus organizations to meeting people who have encouraged me to dream bigger, Xavier has helped me grow into a more confident and determined person. One of my proudest moments was earning A’s in all three of my Summer courses after intentionally taking them to improve my GPA. It reminded me that even when things do not go according to plan, I am capable of pushing myself and making progress.
