Life & Professional Aspirations:

I am a returning sophomore at Morgan State University, majoring in Biology with the goal of becoming a dentist. My passion for dentistry began at a young age through the positive relationship I developed with my own dentist. Going to the dentist was never something I feared. Instead, I became interested in the care, attention to detail, and trust that went into every visit. That experience, along with my personal interest in hygiene and oral health, inspired me to pursue a career where I can provide that same level of care and comfort to others. Outside of academics, I enjoy expressing myself through music and performance. I have a passion for singing and color guard, which has taught me discipline, creativity, teamwork, and the importance of dedication. Being part of a performance group has also helped me become more confident and comfortable working alongside people with different personalities and backgrounds. As I continue my education at Morgan State University, I am focused on building a strong foundation in biology and preparing myself for dental school. My ultimate goal is to become a compassionate dentist who not only improves the oral health of my patients but also creates an environment where they feel comfortable, respected, and cared for. I hope to build the same type of meaningful relationships with my future patients that first inspired me to pursue dentistry.
