I hold a Bachelor of English Education from South Carolina State University, a Master of Science in Psychology from the University of West Alabama, and an MSW from Howard University. I am currently an ABD doctoral student at Prairie View A&M University, completing my Ph.D. in Juvenile Justice. As a single mother originally from South Carolina and now living in Texas without familial support, I balance the demands of advanced scholarship with the realities of raising an infant alone. My academic and professional commitments are grounded in a deep passion for juvenile justice policy reform, and my research interests center on the intersections of neurodiversity, trauma exposure, and recidivism among marginalized youth populations.
