I am a Marketing student at Coppin State University with a passion for advertising, branding, social media, and creative marketing strategy. Through my experience as a Marketing Intern at BLK SWAN Restaurant and Social Media Manager at SkyVibe Restaurant & Lounge, I have developed hands-on experience with content creation, event promotion, customer engagement, and marketing campaigns. I also work as a Leasing Consultant, which has sparked my interest in real estate, property management, and the luxury housing industry. As a leader in the American Marketing Association, I continue to build my leadership, communication, and networking skills.

Claim To Fame:

My claim to fame in college is being a first-generation college student who turned every challenge into motivation to keep going. Throughout my time at Coppin State University, I have worked hard to build a future for myself while balancing school, work, leadership, and my responsibilities outside of the classroom. I became involved with the American Marketing Association and took on a leadership role as Treasurer, which allowed me to develop my confidence, communication, organization, and professional skills. I have also made it a priority to gain real-world experience in marketing through internships and jobs where I could create promotional materials, develop marketing ideas, manage social media, and help businesses attract customers. These experiences have helped me realize that marketing is more than just a major to me�it is something I genuinely enjoy and want to build my career around. What makes my college journey especially meaningful is that I am doing something that has not been done in my immediate family before. I will be the first person in my family to graduate from college. Growing up with my single mother, it has always been important to me to make both her and myself proud. Knowing how hard she has worked has motivated me to keep pushing even when college has been difficult. My �claim to fame� is not one award or accomplishment. It is that I kept showing up, growing, and creating opportunities for myself. I came to college with goals, faced obstacles along the way, and continued working toward becoming the successful Black woman, marketing professional, and future entrepreneur I envision myself becoming.

Most Memorable Moment:

Some of my most memorable college moments have come from the people I have met and the experiences I have been able to be a part of. Being involved in the American Marketing Association has given me opportunities to connect with other students, attend events, take on leadership responsibilities, and build relationships that have helped me grow personally and professionally. Another memorable part of my college experience was being a member of the majorette team. Being part of a team taught me the importance of commitment, teamwork, discipline, and supporting the people around me. Some of my favorite memories came from practicing, performing, attending campus events, and simply sharing those experiences with my teammates. Beyond organizations and activities, one of the biggest parts of my college experience has been connecting with my peers. I have met people from different backgrounds, built friendships, shared experiences, and learned from people who I may not have crossed paths with otherwise. I have also had opportunities to network with professors, professionals, alumni, and other students who have encouraged me to think bigger about my future. When I look back on college, I know I will remember the events, performances, meetings, and accomplishments, but I will also remember the conversations, friendships, and connections I made along the way. Those relationships have been a meaningful part of my college journey and have helped shape the person I am becoming.
